If you tend to bend your left elbow on the backswing so that your swing breaks down and you must swing with your hands and arms, try this fix: Try to swing back to the top of your backswing so that your right arm feels as if it is bent to a 90-degree position. This way, your left arm cannot break down and you will be in a solid position at the top.
